• Lead technician for all major electrical and mechanical issues with equipment.• Daily responsibility includes ensuring manufacturing uptimes, quality, safety, and equipment operations are met within set company guidelines. With responsibilities to oversee all aspects of the maintenance department and parts storage room, outside contractors plus supervise 3 maintenance personnel and manage their work load and PMs to insure up-time projection and company goals are met. • Evaluate daily production reports and act on any deviation from schedule, which could include machine issues and operator related issues. Monitor the maintenance issues and PMs and follow up with corrective action and root cause analysis.• Educate and mentor maintenance and operator personnel when troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on one 72” extrusion line and 6 slitters.• Daily duties included, but were not limited to: Rebuilding cylinders (air and fluid), proper replacement and fit of all types of bearing drive couplings, motor alignments, plumbing fittings (iron, PVC and copper), push connect (water, air and gas), mechanical air operated actuators, repair of roller journals and shafts, used caliper and feeler gauges to measure set settings, replaced and set all types of drive belts and rebuilt pneumatic valves.Key Accomplishments• Worked on Million Dollar upgrade of Extrusion Line. This included pricing and sourcing automation companies. The utilized Project Management skills to track installation of components to the system. Upgraded from PLC 5 with Fiber Optic communication to Siemens 7 200 PLC and Siemens A/C drives. Did all calibration to tension controller and rebuilt web guide system. Also performed roller alignment for whole line.• Created a roll slitting device that slit damaged rolls that would have been no use to the company saving thousands of dollars.• After upgrade got up times in the 94%-96% range, up from 70%.

• Oversaw the manufacturing process of 5 departments and managers with 45 manufacturing employees, 1 shift supervisor. Directly reported to VP of Operations. Managed and helped produce an annual maintenance budget. Evaluated production efficiency of the employees and equipment using data collections. Held daily production meeting with managers and consulted with account executives on customer jobs.• Responsible for manufacturing quality products while meeting production goals, reducing waste and increasing production speeds in all departments. Looked at all manufacturing data collections evaluate and make corrections as needed.
