Project Manager in charge of the building/civil portion of a large ($600 million) confidential project located in South Carolina. Responsibilities include conceptual and detailed design coordination, scheduling and coordination of construction work, coordination between building and process work. Other responsibilities include estimation for multiple projects and prospects. Utilizing Viewpoint/Maxwell estimation software.

Project Manager on a 30 million dollar expansion project at Toray Carbon Fiber America plant in Decatur, Alabama. Overall project manager for building/civil in charge of project execution for an expansion to the existing facility, including schedule and budget control, bidding and buyout, contractor selection, contract management, change order management, and safety management. Project takes place at an operating Carbon Fiber facility, involving strict access requirements and highly confidential processes.

Pre-construction Project Manager out of Tokyo Office. Worked on the early phases of several projects for customers such as Nitta Gelatin, Calpis, and Morinaga. Worked closely with Japanese clients, visiting their facilities around Japan and coordinating basic design and programing for Industrial Plant projects in the United States.

May, 2011 – November, 2011, Vancouver WA – Project Manager for Design phase of Shin Etsu Handotai (SEH) America Bldg. 15 Epi Reactor Fab. Design of building, civil and process utilities for a 300mm Epi Reactor Fab. Included design of Class 10 and Class 100 clean rooms. December, 2010 – December 2011, Salem OR –Project Manager for small projects at SANYO Solar of Oregon, including Shutdown work, Tie-ins and POC’s for future tools, and installation of test Crystal Grower and Wire Saw.January, 2010 – April 2011, Portland OR–Project Manager on multiple small projects for Ajinomoto Frozen Foods USA. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordination of Design and Construction work, coordination between building and process work, Overall responsibility for project Budget and Cash-flow. RFQ, Contract and CO generation and management, and punch list/closeout. Projects take place inside an operating USDA facility where contractor/plant separation and protocol were critical to the progress of the project. Projects involve tying in to existing plant utilities including anhydrous ammonia refrigeration systems.

Project Manager on 85 million dollar industrial project at SANYO Solar of Oregon in Salem. Responsibilities included initial site selection and negotiation with City and State Officials, conceptual and detailed design coordination, scheduling and coordination of construction work, coordination between building and process work, reporting, RFI, RFQ, contract and CO generation and management, and punch list/closeout. Project included setting and utility hookup of multiple tools including; Crystal Growers, Crop Saws, Trimmer/Slabbers, Grinder/Polishers, Wiresaws, Slurry Tanks and Recycling Skid, Pre-Cleaning and Final Cleaning Benches, Wafer inspection and packaging equipment, Silicon Recycling equipment, and utility equipment such as Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Scrubbed Exhaust, Waste Water Treatment, Argon and Nitrogen Delivery, Hazardous Chemical Delivery (HCL, NaOH, HF, HNO3). Supervised both H-occupancy and clean room (class 10,000) construction.

Assistant Project Manager on a 250 million dollar industrial project at Toray Carbon Fiber plant in Alabama. Responsibilities included scheduling and coordination of construction work, coordination between building and process work, thorough QA/QC, reporting, RFI management and follow-up, RFQ and CO generation and management, and punch list/closeout.

Project Management Services. Managed small capital improvement projects of varying sizes for local school districts in Portland, Tigard-Tualatin and Hillsboro. Assisted in managing New School Construction for Tigard-Tualation SD. Responsibilities included estimating, creating and managing budget, schedule, and coordination of construction projects through programming, design, bid, construction, and close-out phases.
