I have managed numerous high profile disputes in Hong Kong from the Court of First Instance up to the Court of Final Appeal. I have particular experience of credit defaults, insolvencies, receiverships, financial crime, breach of fiduciary duties by directors and officers and trustees, shareholder and boardroom disputes, professional negligence claims and sale of goods/commodity disputes. I have also acted for leading financial institutions defending investment product ‘misselling’ claims and the related regulatory/compliance investigations. I also have considerable experience of managing multi-jurisdiction litigation including PRC cross-border disputes and insolvencies and project managing multiple recovery actions following a corporate collapse as a result of a fraud by the former management. I also have experience pursuing claims in offshore jurisdictions such as Cayman, BVI and Samoa.
