I got my start in construction as a laborer and immediately fell in love with the industry. I did my best to learn as much as I could and would be given more and more responsibilities. This ultimately led to me acquiring a role as an Assistant Superintendent. It was in this role that I learned about all the behind the scenes work that goes on in construction. I was introduced to how to keep track of project progress, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and quality standards, purchasing equipment and materials, and collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs. I use all of my experience to effectively manage projects from beginning to completion.
