• Assist incoming freshman, transfer and readmit students in academic planning, • Offers academic support to guide students through course selection process,• Knowledge of FERPA guidelines, CUNYFirst, University Application Processing Center, Skills Assessment Testing and Degree work, • Train new advisors to learn Academic Advisement procedures, • Update advisement binders, • Audited students’ files at end of each enrollment cycle, • Organize data to prepare for future enrollment cycles, • Assist students with TAP Alerts, • Communicate with reproduction department regarding work orders,• Assist with front desk operations,• Greet students and route them to proper department for further assistance
