Worked as part of the Liquifi team supporting its core set of trading applications. · Built the Rates dark pool trading engine that trades treasury notes. The trading engine handled 4 million transactions/day and ran 23 of 24 hours to support trading in Tokyo, London, and the US.· Rates application could process an order in sub 6 milliseconds· Helped profile the CX application for hot spots and fine tune the JVM to minimize pauses in GC run-time and overall order transaction latency· Built an integration tester for Rates and achieved over 75% code coverage for integration and unit tests combined· Used JChart to analyze performance/latency data stored in our KDB, a high throughput in-memory database for holding billions of real-time transactions
