In February 2016 Lakewell Utilities and Shillibiers created a joint venture company to enhance our two companies capabilities within the Civil Engineering sector. Whilst Shillibier and Lakewell still operate within their own construction sectors. Wellshill have combined the contractual expertise of Lakewell and the plant, equipment & transport of Shillibiers to deliver contracts in excess of £1m.As Joint Managing Director I have responsibility for all Commercial and Contractual activity. Leyton Shillibier our other Joint Managing Director has responsibility for all Operational and Site Construction activity.

The company was formed in 2013 to carry out Civil Engineering and Pipe laying works.The management team is built up of experienced and energetic construction professionals, who have throughout their careers achieved at the highest levels. For instance, it often sub-contracts pipeline schemes to other principal contractors.Lakewell Utilities operates a comprehensive integrated management system, on 19th December 2014 we achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification. The company adheres strictly to health and safety and welfare regulations. All Lakewell Utilities staff are trained to the highest levels in health and safety. All site staff has EUSR or CSCS cards and use plant operator tickets to the latest CPCS standards.In March 2015 Lakewell was registered with Constructionline.
