Bryan Rea, CFP® is an investment advisor and a member of the Investment Committee for Capital Investment Advisors (CIA). He joined team CIA in January of 2007. Prior to his arrival at Capital Investment Advisors, he worked at a regional investment firm where he was a financial advisor and managed an office in Savannah, Georgia. Bryan has always had a passion for working directly with clients and creating individualized portfolios that are tailored toward their specific needs. While in Savannah, he primarily worked with clients as a specialist in fixed income, traditional and convertible preferred securities, as well as dividing paying stocks.As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Bryan focuses on matching investment and financial planning strategies to the specific goals of his clients and then advises them on asset allocation decisions, portfolio design and investment implementation. His practice has been built helping business owners, executives and retirees navigate through various financial situations, such as estate planning, retirement planning and business succession.At CIA, Bryan spends much of his time researching investments for clients as well as taking part in regularly occurring investment committee meetings. His function with this committee is analyzing fixed income investments and preferred stocks.As a native of south Georgia, Bryan loves outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, running, and golf. He is a graduate of the Harley Langdale College of Business at Valdosta State University with a BBA in Finance. In his spare time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, giving back to the community and attending Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Bryan is married to wife Casey and they have a beautiful daughter Emme Layne and son Wells.
