BRYAN REID is a Cannes Lions Award Winning Director based in Toronto, Canada. He began his career as a director, writer, composer, and actor in the Comedy Network series, Truthhorse. From there he refocused his creative talents on the world of advertising, (and the goal of one day moving out of his basement apartment).Over the past 22years he has worn many hats, Director, Composer, Actor, Writer, Creative Director, ECD, CCO and President. Reid has directed commercials and content for global brands like Bud Light, Under Armour, Visa, Kraft, Boston Pizza, Teleflora, Quaker, Tostitos and WestJet. Reid was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be the Creative Director as well as the Director, for one of the most viewed online advertisements in Canadian history: “The WestJet Christmas Miracle”. Viewed over 50 million times around the world this video kicked off a decades long campaign for the airline and kicked-started a genre of advertising affectionately known as “surprise and delight”. From his roots in comedy to his highly emotional storytelling Reid always sweats the details. Whether it’s docu-style, surprise & delight, dramatic scripted work, or gritty action-based sports there isn’t any genre he’ll shy away from. A passionate creative leader, Reid recently formed Mas Orca, a Creative Production Agency in Toronto Canada.
