Hello there, my name is Bryan and I bring considerable experience and aptitude to the table. I look forward to contributing my unique set of skills to whatever team or assembly in which I play a role. I have a broad range of customer service experience, from the straightforward call center, to the idiosyncratic environment of restaurants, to the humility and empathy of being a therapist, to the excitement of a stage. In my work as a on-boarder and retention specialist with Varsity Tutors, I have listened to thousands of customer stories and needs, all related to the important process of finding complimentary education for themselves or their families. I have helped customers discover needs and goals they were not aware of, and helped them find the perfect tutor for those needs. In my variety of roles in the restaurant industry, I have overseen and worked alongside countless teams, focused intently on ensuring the best experience possible for customers. I consistently went above and beyond the written bounds of my respective roles, guided by my personal belief that service helps define a person's emotional experience beyond just the present interaction. As a clinical therapist, I nurtured resiliency in my clients through unconditional positive regard and used embodied strategies to encourage clients to practice building skills which directly applied to their individual and collective goals. In focusing on a strong, foundational therapeutic alliance, I watched my clients find energy and space within themselves to heal and recover. In my prior therapeutic work at Center for Families and Relationships and Merakey, both community mental health organizations, I was responsible for intakes, semi-annual assessments, and creating and implementing treatment plans for each of my clients. Additionally, I made collaborative action plans with teachers, behavior specialists, and case managers. I have been able to balance the necessary paperwork and practical steps to ensure my clients receive treatment while always trying to maintain strong clinical support to my clients directly. As a freelance performance artist and theater teacher, I led multiple classes and workshops designed to create works of theater through collaboration, communication, and building trust, for both adults and children. My considerable experience and far-reaching potential in customer service, supplemented by my disciplined work ethic and devotion to building trust with my customers, will set me up to succeed as a member of any team.
