My experience is a combination of sales, marketing and communication, and internal database data entry. One of the biggest accomplishments of my professional career was hitting all of the first year sales quotas in my role as insurance agent with AFLAC. I spent a great deal of time communicating with business owners and employees through cold calls, follow-up, and giving product and company presentations to groups ranging anywhere from 1-20 people.In my current role I am one of the managers for a valet service located inside the McNamara garage at the Detroit airport. I am responsible for supervising and overseeing a group of 15 employees that handle valet and maintenance operations within the surrounding area outside of the terminals. Implementing training programs, scheduling, assisting in employee development, and recruiting are a few of the top priorities of the position.In my previous role I worked in a pressroom on the manufacturing side within a marketing company. Learning many different aspects of the business through physical experience along with keeping current on other company information via company website, blog, industry articles, etc. My day to day objectives are to ensure quality product being delivered to our clients in the most efficient and effective manner. I have trained many temporary and newly hired employees on each of the different types of presses we use.In the past few months I have began educating myself and building a blog through Wordpress. Learning the back end in areas such as design, analytics, SEO, and plug-ins available. Currently working on a website to motivate and inspire others to work towards success. My goal is to one day become a top motivational speaker.
