In this role I worked to design and deliver targeted communication and marketing solutions that supported strategic priorities and successfully promote a complex range of services to our wide and diverse range of client and stakeholder groups. I was responsible for the establishment of strategies to promote the work of my company via a variety of cost effective media. This included responsibility for the design and print management of corporate literature and marketing materials, design and management of websites, event planning, vehicle branding and sourcing, design and purchasing of promotional goods.In developing these strategies and managing their implementation CSG had raised theirprofile significantly, increased awareness of their wide range of services, increased clientand customer engagement levels and built the reputation of CSG by nurturing strongpartnerships with public bodies such as Police Scotland, Glasgow City Council and a widerange of 3rd sector organisations. I redeveloped CSG’s website (www.communitysafetyglasgow.org) as part of our company wide rebranding exercise. I am responsible for the maintenance of the website, liaising directly with various teams throughout the company to ensure that their information is up to date and relevant. As part of the ongoing management of the website I also create new graphics for the site, optimising them for web viewing and run Google analytics.As an integral part of the external communications strategy my team implemented theSocial Media strategy for the organisation. From concept to launch, guiding the Board,Senior Management team and representatives from all staffing groups we ensured asuccessful launch, meeting key performance indicators. From April 2014 to date we haveseen a 3243% increase in Facebook likes alone resulting in significant customerengagement.

Working for the PR department of West Dunbartonshire Council gave me a great understanding of what is required of a Communications Officer. I was involved in the positive promotion of the Council as well as dealing daily with press enquiries. During my time with WDC I was also part of the team that produced the monthly WDC News which was an award winning monthly newspaper that was delivered to all residents of WDC. Inaddition to this I co-wrote the internal staff magazine WestLife and overseen the layout and print of this job.
