Senior Trainer
As Senior Trainer, I am responsible for both direct client and partner training programs. I develop resources to assist our partners with their clients and support them on their path to creating, submitting, and supporting their apps. Additionally, I create and administer Train the Trainer programs, and use certification processes to ensure that those trainers are up to speed, and are providing the same service that I would. Finally, I mentor other members of the team to help them with anything from personal and career development, to becoming a subject matter expert on our system. This requires reflective practice to ensure, I am developing myself as well. It is important that training teams work together and help each other out along the way.
Client Services Consultant, Enablement & Training
As a part of the Enablement and Training team, I work with clients to develop customized training plans for their teams on the QuickMobile Platform. Once created, I administer the training via Webinar or in-class courses. In addition to client training, I am responsible for helping to develop new internal training plans to assist with on-boarding of new employees, employee development and various other programs that help our employees to further understand our system and our client's needs. Another big aspect of my job is to develop training videos (Camtasia) and documentation to assist or clients before, during, and after their training sessions. This requires planning, and understanding the audience to ensure the appropriate direction is taken with each resource.
Client Services Consultant, Content And Analytics
This role allowed me to be hands on with data analysis, content/information services, and on-site support. For every project assigned, I checked to ensure all entered content is correct and current, gather the analytics from the QP dashboard and SQL and advise ways to utilize and promote the event app to ensure the event success. In general, our team helped to establish project workflows, helped to develop QP guidelines, worked with the product development team to improve the overall app and platform experience. This role also enabled me to provide mobile app on-site support for some of our biggest clients such as AT&T, KPMG, Lowe's, and TD Ameritrade.
Event Coordinator
I was responsible for planning after hours events at Science World. This included meeting with the client, helping them find the best location in the building to run their event as smoothly and efficiently as possible. During the event, I was the supervisor for the Science World Staff, and liaise with any security needed. I set up the audio-visual components and controlled it throughout the evening, or helped a hired technician set up. This included podium and microphone. I was responsible for rental deliveries and pickups as well as assisting catering companies to put out tables, table cloths and their food.
Science Facilitator
Ensured customers were happy with their experience. Provided explanations for exhibits, discussed scientific processes, and allowed customers to make their own hypothesis and conclusions.
Sports Editor
I edited articles about the NCAA and SFU's success and failures in their first year of true competition in the league. I was responsible for a 3-4 page section every week, and to attend games as well as write articles myself.
