I manage day to day operations of various projects while ensuring that set deadlines met and that daily tasks are proceeding in a cost-effective manner. I coordinate with multiple departments within the company to ensure that nothing gets missed before, during, or after the freight has been processed. Additionally, my responsibilities require me to work with corporate account customers to ensure the billing process conforms to the customer’s contract. It is imperative that great customer service is followed through so working directly with customers to quickly resolve issues in the most timely and effective manner is key.

The purpose of the position was to learn various aspects of the company while assisting different departments. One of my most important tasks was creating the first recruiting manual for the company by partnering with the operations and recruiting departments. I worked with the permit department to make sure all permits needed for a project were received on time so that no projects were delayed. Also during this process, I learned how to handle and process the company’s largest customer.

I supervised up to ten employees to make sure every customer order was processed and completed in a timely and professional manner. I coached, trained, and helped developed employees to meet company standards. Cycle counts were done weekly to verify inventory levels and discrepancies were invested by pulling receipts and working with other stores to authenticate store to store transfers.
