• Direct and manage all technical & science related tasks in the local division level (Research, Product development, QC, Process development, Scale up, and SDS/labels/packaging).• Lead the research and development of new chemical products for the cosmetic, oil & gas and specialty chemicals industry. • Manage the life cycle of product development from initial conceptualization, design, lab scale synthesis, functional testing, forecast, costing, scale-up, quality control, commercial production and product support. Generate workflow diagram for corporate wide projects• Cost analysis of new products and working with sales to set pricing to achieve profitability goals.• Maintain, implement and improve Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 standards• Manage relationships with customers’ Technical Directors to develop new product concepts, customer requirements and product specifications.• Writes all technical documents related to products (technical data sheets, production batch procedures)• Liaise with toll producers for the production of out-sourced materials ensuring quality and timely delivery

• Hands-on experience in developing new specialty chemical products for oil & gas, pulp & paper, cosmetic and lubricant & surfactant industries.• Problem solve complex chemistry challenges in the synthesis and industrial scale up process of specialty chemicals from 250 g to 30,000 kg scale with focus on reaction design, quality assurance and condition optimization.• Proven track record in taking an industrial need and developing a chemical solution from conceptualization, to lab scale synthesis, to pilot plant scale up to commercialization.• Experience in new generation biodegradable chelants, polymerizations, phosponates, surfactants, odor sequestration of H2S and mercaptans.

• Responsible for day to day operations in the construction of custom homes and commercial spaces.• Managed between 8-12 jobsites at any given time through conceptualization, design, construction, inspections and quality assurance. (Start to finish)• Quality control of sub-trades and inspection of finished product • Responsible for work schedules, inspections and meeting deadlines for completion

• Design and evaluation of novel magnetic particles for human and mouse cell separation. • Process development to scale up potential product candidates from lab to production scale. • Evaluation and sourcing of suppliers for particle products and projects. • Cell separation, bioconjugation, magnetic particle synthesis and physical characterization.
