I started working at Filter Publications when Racer X Illustrated was still a newspaper, shipping issues to motorcycle dealers, running errands, printing photos in the dark room (remember those?), copy-editing, etc. Eventually I found enough responsibility to be named managing editor, a position I held for more than ten years. In early 2009, after my position on the editorial staff had run its course, I was asked to lead the company into the future. I enthusiastically embrace technology, and while I think print is far from dead, our company takes a comprehensive approach to publishing that uses whatever tools we have at our disposal to share the world's most compelling motorcycle-racing-related content.
