Working in a Project management capacity with high emphases to hands-on approach to TAR operations within Iraq's major crude oil gathering stations on the Rumaila oil field. Constant meeting and liaisons with clients and contractors with regards to the planning pre shutdown activities. Scheduling of appropriate workforce and equipment to ensure right resources are on site before the commencement of work scope, vessel cleaning, inspection and repairs with both intrusive and non-intrusive cleaning methods. During this position, i was considered as BP process vessel specialist of any removal of existing vessel internals when required to allow vessel internals retrofit.The removal/replacement of control & manual valves. Flange management systems. Daily Managing Valve workshop personnel activities and certification. Site management to all disciplines relating to construction and refurbishment of degassing stations. Assist other team members with early site shutdown planning before site mobilization through to completion and construction. Create daily/weekly and monthly reports of construction work performed by several contractors, complete GOC documentation, and work pack completion for station handover back to clients. Supervise the mechanical completion phase and transition to final Hook-up and Commissioning Phase. Provide safety monitoring/leadership that include but not limited to - toolbox talks and safety briefs, PTW system, confined space cleaning, working at heights and lifting operations.In the absence of project personnel, I have chaired monthly performance review meeting as Petrofac shutdown manager to senior management of clients. Managed planning and implementation of safe and completion of fourteen successful gathering station turnaround as shutdown manager.

Duties at Smith services involved the day to day maintenance requirements of a busy machine and welding fabrication premises, these premises were run 24/7 where call outs were critical ensuring the support of 9 CNC and manual lathes duties involved stripping headstocks and electrical problem finding. Hydraulic, pneumatic experience was also required.The welding shop also operated 24/7, Duties there involved electrical fault finding, preventative and reactive maintenance alongside welding fabrication work. I furthered my knowledge of problem-solving ability to design and manufacture equipment in house used to increase and ease productivity of workers in-house one design In particular was a great success, of the many designs in particular, due to the success of the pipe loading units management requested these at every Smith service machine shops worldwide. There was a vast array of heritage and new forms of different equipment within the factory it was my responsibility to ensure any downtime kept to a minimum.During employment at Smith services, I gained my SQA A1 Assessors qualification to assist Smiths on achieving their target to have all personnel assessed to the Smith standard in Q2 of 2010.
