Began a career in the field of Electrical Infrastructure in 1980.Through a 4 year traineeship with Prospect County Council, completed the Electrical Engineering Certificate with training in various disciplines within the organisation. Settled into a Design Office role at a construction works depot in 1984.Commenced IT studies in 1986 which lead to a career change in 1989, working as an Analyst/programmer. Another career change occurred in 2001 with a family owned partnership. Opened an educational book and toy store supplying resources to teachers and schools, with an accompanying tutoring centre. Returned to electrical infrastructure design by commencing a role as a Level 3 ASP with Connect Infrastructure in 2006 progressing to Team Leader, managing a team of 3 designers.Joined Ultegra's (formerly UEA) small design group in 2013. This role evolved, along with the team, into one where the majority of work was undertaken as a team leader, in design quality management/checking, & mentoring. Current role involves QA of work from all designers, supervising drafter work loads and providing technical/drawing standard support for designers. Following the closure of Ultegra’s design group in September 2024, commenced a senior role at DEP Consulting. Again performing the QA role for all designs and technical support for the design team. Project experience includes:- Sydney Metro HV Feeders from various Zone Substations- Sydney Metro West Feeders from various Zone Substations - M5 interchange dive portal lighting designs & report for TfNSW. - West Harbour Tunnel TBS & Temp lighting- The Northern Road Stage 2 (Oran Park - Bringelly) & Stage 3 (Glenmore Park - Penrith)- WestConnex HV feeders from various Zone Substations- South Windsor 33kV OH asset relocation - NorthConnex HV feeders from Hornsby & Pennant Hills Zone Substations- Minto Renewal Area Stages 5, 6, 7 & 10 - master planning for lighting & reticulation of 300 Lots- The Ponds (various Stages) - master planning for lighting, reticulation and staged designs of 1200 lots- Smeaton Grange (various stages) - industrial subdivisions- Indoor/chamber substations - Telstra (Liverpool), Sydney Water Parramatta, Revesby Workers Club, Data Centre Talavera Rd (Macquarie Park), Toll / Metcash (Huntingwood), IKEA (Marsden Park) Bathurst/Castlereagh Streets Sydney, Orora Revesby. - numerous connection of load projects
