CurrentResponsible for support, leadership, and proposition of engagements focused on base chemicals, polymers, and petrochemicals, including bio-based and circular materials. Provided technical due diligence in multiple industry segments on behalf of clients as prospective investors, buyers, and vendors:• Engagements included in-person and virtual reviews of manufacturing and R&D operations with ties to traditional polymers, renewable polymers, midstream and downstream oil and gas, specialty chemicals, hydrogen, syngas, methanol, and ammonia• Analyzed patent documents, academic literature, and technology licensing opportunities to advise path forward options for clients interested in specialty chemicals, biopolymers, and commoditized materials• Assessed the design, performance, and safety culture of multiple project sites, including reactor design and construction, production capacity and utilization, asset reliability, materials and power consumption, individual and collective process overviews, industrial hygiene, and product quality• Reviewed the feasibility of a proposed mechanical recycling facility to sort, clean, and process PET, PP, and PE materials sourced from MSW. Key considerations included feedstock supply, equipment selection, process automation, plant design, site logistics, and potential market and technical risks• Provided pipeline analysis for local, regional, and global partners in the PET collection and recycling supply chain targeted by a global ESG investment fund working in South America. Analyses included assessments of key structural, operational, and personnel considerations, in addition to strategic fit with client goals and insights regarding the ability of identified firms to achieve desired outcomes
