My department is responsible for underwriting all Mortgage and Home Equity Line of Credit applications submitted by the Quebec and Atlantic Mobile Mortgage Specialist (MMS) teams. The applications are analyzed by a team of underwriters and, once approved, passed on to the Credit Assistant team. The Credit Assistant’s role is to verify the compliance of all documents that complete the credit application primarily including pay stubs, letters of employment, notices of assessment (provincial and federal), purchase agreements, counter proposals and amendments, sellers’ declarations, bank statements, leases, separation agreements, municipal property assessments, and debt payouts. During this process, the Credit Assistant is in constant contact with the MMS, primarily by e-mail but also by phone, to insure that the compliant application is sent off to the branch as quickly and efficiently as possible to meet the clients’ notary signing deadlines.

Intermediate between kitchen staff and waiting staff: receiving print-outs of all food orders, controlling the flow of the kitchen, organizing first and second services, making sure all orders are complete and plates are clean before being given to the waiters, adding garnish to dishes
