Duties include the control of all material movements throughout the production floor and handling messaging and instruction for handheld and WinCE devices.• Project Lead for the successful completion of Lorillard’s objective of replacing and modernizing its legacy Simatic IT Lot Tracking system. Analyzed current processes and revised PL/SQL procedures and packages to provide manufacturing floor product specification data.• Lead Developer for the manufacturing side of Lorillard’s retirement of Leaf Inventory and Warehouse Management legacy systems. • Responsible for creating all aspects needed to functionalize the Time Approval, Project Management and Electronic Vendor modules within ATS’s Financial System software product. Using Oracle’s Developer Suite designed and built the necessary forms and reports for presentation of data, created database tables, entity relationships and server-side PL/SQL packages for the editing and processing of data.• Using JDeveloper implemented a Java-to-Oracle solution for the seamless transfer and processing of electronic invoices, designed the application interface to dynamically build file trees and coded server-side objects to process the ordering, receipt and payment of inventory.• Working closely with clients, gathered the necessary functional requirements for the creation of a custom Payroll Advance system that allowed for employees to receive semi-monthly payments, which excluded Federal and State taxes but allowed for other payroll deductions as needed. • Responsible for the creation and integration of server side payroll processing routines that allowed for the precise calculation of multiple pay rated and salaried employees. This allowed for employees to key time to various projects that required different rates of pay. • Managed the deployment of the Financial System software product and the release of upgrades and patches to clients across the country.• Designed and implemented a XML-to-Oracle solution for integration between ATS’s Financial System and a third party Inventory Control system in order to improve productivity and simplify the job of staking engineers working in the field.• Devised algorithms for the retrieving and presentation of data using Oracle Reports, examples include Payroll Checks, Pay Stubs, W2’s, Inventory Pick Lists, Project Costs and Subsidiary Balance to General Ledger. • Created server routines for processing electronic NACHA files and electronic W2 reporting.
