About Bryan Tan
Currently the Biz Ops Lead for Operations Delivery APAC, having moved to this expanded span from initially PMO Lead for Operations Delivery Malaysia and then for SEA (South East Asia). Responsible for driving and monitoring areas such as operational excellence, financials, delivery cost, business transformation initiatives and other key priorities. Supporting the Operations Delivery Lead for APAC, collaborating with various cross functional/geographical stakeholders and rapidly pivot to emerging priorities are key areas of focus.In my recent past roles, I was the Head of Service Management in a shared services organization for a natural resources conglomerate. My responsibilities primarily focused on uplifting the Service Management function across Finance & Accounting, HR, IT BAUand IT Project Delivery. Prior to that I spent significant amounts of time in IT services on a global level. Started off as an Application Support Consultant (non-SAP and then SAP PLM) and then moving on to Support Manager for a global SAP PLM solution. In this period there were 5 Application Support Consultants reporting to me, covering 24 x 5.Followed then by taking on a Service Transition Manager role in which my responsibilities are to design, plan and manage the transition of a global tracking and tracing solution (hybrid of SAP and MES and mobile devices in a IT and supply chain environment) from project mode to a Business-As-Usual mode.Then moved to a Service Manager role with responsibilities on supplier service performance, KPI reporting, stakeholder management and financial management. Subsequently a Solution Centre Manager for Manufacturing related systems which is also known generally as a Global Service Delivery Manager. I was accountable for the service delivery of 2 Global Solution (hybrid of SAP, MES and Mobile Devices ) and 1 Regional system (non-SAP). My responsibilities included service delivery to internal customers according to agreed deliverables, supplier management, contract negotiation and management, change and business release management, financial management, IT services design, IT service transition, stakeholder management and team management.
