CurrentThe IESO manages Ontario's power system and meets electricity needs in real-time. The IESO delivers key services across the electricity sector including: managing the system in real-time, planning for the province's future energy needs, enabling conservation and designing a more efficient electricity marketplace to support sector evolution.Strategic Policy Advisor - Provide sound advice to both the IESO and LDCs, communicate policy details and decisions externally as well as bringing the market participant perspective to internal policy development discussions and policy decisions.Sector Engagement - Attend meetings and events with LDC and IESO senior management and key sector stakeholders, collect stakeholder input, prepare briefing notes, deliver presentations to LDC staff and customers on energy efficiency and the Industrial Conservation Initiative (ICI).Problem Solving - Work collaboratively with LDCs to resolve issues related to energy efficiency projects, market settlement, invoicing, global adjustment, metering, market registration and operations issues in a timely manner that supports LDC and IESO objectives and system efficiency and effectiveness. Issue Resolution - Identify and manage issues requiring input from LDC and IESO senior management, prepare briefs, facilitate discussion and resolution in a constructive manner to achieve goals and deliver value for ratepayers.Key Account Management - Develop and manage strong sector/customer relationships. Manage LDC account priorities related to energy efficiency programs, the Industrial Conservation Initiative (ICI), customer billing issues, market settlements, market invoices, market registration, regional planning, cybersecurity, prudentials and margin calls. Communicate with LDCs and IESO SMEs to understand priorities and support effective decision making.
