- Prepare and approve loan presentations for commercial real estate loans of $500M to $15MM, SBA 504 & 7a loans of $500M to $5MM, and C&I loans of $250M to $5MM. Larger requests to be submitted to Directors Loan Committee for approval. Present key information as needed for approval. - Prepare and/or review Expression of Interest letters (EOI) for new requests submitted by the Relationship Manager. Recommend or make changes and/or corrections. - Thoroughly analyze both personal and company financial statements using internal excel cash flow templates as well as Moody’s Analytics Software Program.- Thoroughly review environmental and appraisal reports for accuracy and request for corrections or amendments when needed through the internal appraisal department.- Ensure approved loans are submitted and processed accurately through documentation and funding departments and provide additional assistance when necessary.- Discuss potential lending options with relationship managers and their clients to ensure the appropriate needs are being met for the client. This may at times include site visits with the banking officer and the client to gain a thorough understanding of their needs. - Prepare internal memo’s citing policy exceptions or weaknesses found in each loan request and submit for review by the Board of Directors.- Review customer financial data to ascertain the level of risk involved for extending credit.- Ensure compliance with internal controls and government regulations and discuss with the compliance department when needed. - Complete monthly professional training and continuing education requirements.
