My love for community-focused creative projects, music, and media technology has led to positions as Operations Coordinator and Programming Coordinator in community radio outlets, coordinating international tours as a professional musician, and collaborating in unique and diverse creative projects with a variety of artists, and students of all ages. I've devoted much of my life to making media technology more accessible to people of all skill sets and interests through training and ongoing support of volunteers and community organizations. I've helped people and groups who are often underrepresented in media find new ways to share their perspectives with communities, helping develop communication and technological skills. This includes assisting local organizations in promoting, documenting and enhancing their work through media technology. Although consistently operating within the unique budgetary constraints of a not-for-profit organization, I've ensured that once mission critical elements are defined, appropriate resources are allocated to enhance and enrich a high-use facility. I've tracked and translated the ongoing needs of a large and diverse volunteer base and corresponding technical information towards actionable goals. As a professional musician and audio producer with twenty years' experience, I've performed around the world, released and promoted seven albums, composed for film, television, ads, podcasts and video games, developed and maintained an audience and a network of promoters, festivals, venues, and artists, and received international critical praise and award nominations.
