About Bryan Winston

I am a digital humanist and immigration historian who specializes in public history, oral history, and Latinx history. I am currently the Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Digital and Visual Storytelling for the Carceral Connecticut Project at Wesleyan University, where I teach public history and mapping and visualization courses, I also collaborate with regional cultural organizations to design and curate physical and digital exhibits. Previously, I was the project manager for the Dartmouth Digital History Initiative, as well as Associate Director of two oral history projects.
