As a research assistant, I assisted faculty in identifying secondary scholarship; performed census data research; and revised and confirmed archival and other primary source findings. This often included writing reports and other syntheses of research to support the faculty members research.As a teaching assistant, I led section discussions, managed student assessments, and lectured and presented on course materials.

This role supported the programming of the recurring American History Forum. I organized programming in collaboration with the endowed chair; invited scholars to provide talks and professional development; and organized and led workshops that introduced digital tools to faculty and graduate students.

As editorial assistant, I prepared texts for production; communicate with authors and managed author deadlines; and secured permissions for images and use of past publications.
