Dartmouth Black Lives is a multi-year project to record and preserve the oral history testimony of Dartmouth Black alumni. The project trains students to interview Dartmouth Black alumni about their experience at the College. In this role, I trained students in the theory and practice of oral and digital history. The Dartmouth Vietnam Project is an archive of oral testimony about the Vietnam War era (1950-1975) and its aftermath. The DVP trains Dartmouth undergraduates to conduct oral history interviews with college alumni and other members of the Dartmouth and Upper Valley communities. The DDHI, launched with the support of a Major Initiatives Grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), is an open-source digital humanities project that enhances the utility and accessibility of oral histories through the establishment of encoding and data linking methods and the creation of a data visualization toolkit. As a research assistant, I assisted faculty in identifying secondary scholarship; performed census data research; and revised and confirmed archival and other primary source findings. This often included writing reports and other syntheses of research to support the faculty members research.As a teaching assistant, I led section discussions, managed student assessments, and lectured and presented on course materials.

This role supported the programming of the recurring American History Forum. I organized programming in collaboration with the endowed chair; invited scholars to provide talks and professional development; and organized and led workshops that introduced digital tools to faculty and graduate students.

As editorial assistant, I prepared texts for production; communicate with authors and managed author deadlines; and secured permissions for images and use of past publications.
