SENIOR EXECUTIVE PROFILEAs an influential educational leader, my career has been marked by repeated success in rallying stakeholders around common goals and priorities for learning programs at the nation’s first planetarium, the largest science museum in the western hemisphere, and Wisconsin's premier science and technology center. The natural curiosity of children inspires me. I dedicated my entire career to developing accessible mechanisms that support meaningful learning experiences with the power to transform people’s lives. These programs have reached children, youth, families, schools, and entire communities.Museums can serve as anchors for lifelong learning with the right mix of programming, partnerships, and opportunities. Over the last 29+ years, I created the vision, strategy, and structure to develop and implement rich educational programming and exhibitions that established multiple museums as nationally recognized leaders and innovators in STEM education. The diversity of my experience across many different organizational levels and in large, high-profile institutions has equipped me to facilitate learning experiences, develop curriculum, exhibits, and programs that support broader learning objectives, and drive strategic institutional initiatives that make a huge impact on informal learning, policy, and best practices nationwide. As a visionary leader and big picture thinker, I turn ideas and concepts into reality. I align priorities with the interests of funders and stakeholders to gain the support necessary to execute institutional plans and reach target audiences. Outside of work, I am an avid baseball fan, and I also enjoy cooking, gardening, and home brewing.
