Provided premier accounting services to a variety of hedge fund clientele. My teams role as accounting administrator encompassed expertise of investment valuation & pricing, accrual tracking, daily/monthly account reconciliation, NAV calculations, investor allocation expertise, financial statement preparation and review, audit support packages, etc... In addition to serving all the functions as the books and records of our clients, I placed a strong emphasis on collaboration internally on special projects, and externally with clients, auditors, tax teams and other third parties on a global scale.

After a high school internship, I accepted a part time role that transitioned into a full time role. I worked throughout college taking night classes. While initially working in a clerical role, I quickly grew in my responsibilities and knowledge of the industry. I ultimately took over handling the agencies book of bond business, obtained my insurance license, and worked into a role with agents and underwriters - marketing and quoting commercial insurance policies. I gained invaluable soft skills, industry knowledge and professionalism through my employment at Schultheis.
