As a full-time medical intern, I had the opportunity to rotate through various departments at the hospital. Currently, I have completed my rotation in the Emergency Medicine department, where I gained hands-on experience in evaluating and managing critically ill patients. This immersive experience allowed me to develop skills in resuscitation, rapid decision-making, and patient stabilization. I look forward to further expanding my medical knowledge and skills as I continue my rotations in departments such as Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Palliative Care and Radiotherapy, General Surgery, and Psychiatry.

During my 4-month externship at Hotel-Dieu de France of Beirut hospital, I had the privilege of rotating through departments such as Vascular Surgery, Radiology, Orthopedics, and Gynecology. This experience allowed me to observe complex surgeries, learn about various medical conditions, and develop essential skills in patient care and communication. I gained hands-on experience in assisting doctors, recording patient histories, and providing support in examination rooms. This externship significantly contributed to my knowledge and passion for medicine, providing a strong foundation for my future career in healthcare.

During my internship at the Institute of Thorax Curie-Montsouris, I had a diverse range of responsibilities. I worked closely with doctors during surgeries, provided assistance, and observed their procedures. Additionally, I followed up with patients after surgery to ensure their recovery was progressing smoothly.

Menjez, Akkar, Lebanon

This project is part of a British government cultural policy specific to conflict zones. These are subsidies for heritage protection projects, training, skills development and awareness raising on all heritage-related subjects. The project was carried out in partnership with the University of Geneva (project leader), the municipality of Menjez, the Château-Musée de Bélesta and the Museum of Lebanese Prehistory in Beirut.For 5 weeks our team of 9 people (including 3 from the prehistoric archeology and anthropology laboratory in Geneva) led by T. Steimer-Herbet worked on:1. The enhancement of 11 dolmens.2. The creation of a "path of the dolmens" pedestrian route.3. The collection of data on the frame of the dolmens to document the panels of the "heritage house", its catalog, its site sheets and flyers.4. The study of the furniture from the ancient excavations of the Jesuit Father M. Tallon.5. Promote dialogue with the inhabitants of Menjez by organizing an information day on the project and by carrying out a satisfaction survey.6. Recruit two people from the village to train as cultural facilitators.
