I specialize in therapy with infants, toddlers, and their family members, and practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Palos Verdes and Redondo Beach, CA.I use play and drama therapy strategies in my work with children and families to promote attachment and provide overall symptom relief. Years of experience in providing evidence based treatments enable me to provide high quality care to all of my clients and families. Furthermore, I have experience in working with at-risk mothers and families in their homes and in a therapeutic preschool. As a result, my work has helped mothers heal from postpartum depression and feel more connected to their new roles. Especially relevant, I specialize in supporting families as they heal from trauma, separation, and adjusting to difficult life moments. As a Mommy and Me leader, I provide a supportive, nurturing environment for parents and infants to thrive.I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University (2009). Upon graduating, I learned about Drama Therapy, and decided to pursue a career in the healing arts. I then earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University (2013). I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in November of 2015 (Lic. LMFT90464). My commitment to continuing education is a testament to my work ethic, passion, and respect for families and their children.I earned certifications in Child Parent Psychotherapy and Reflective Parenting Program, both Evidence Based Practices. As a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM®), I offer a unique approach to treating postpartum depression. I have trained at the Drama Therapy Institute of Los Angeles since 2011, and hope to become a Registered Drama Therapist in the near future. Finally, I have years of training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy through UC Davis.
