AMtec Industries is a Custom Control Panel manufacturer focused on providing their customers with high quality custom products.Responsibilities:- Develop detailed 3D CAD assemblies using Siemens NX 3d Unigraphics software as well as Autodesk AutoCAD.- Provide design & manufacturing teams with fabrication & Assembly documentation to allow ease of production/assembly of products- Develop and manage a standing library of 3D parts and Assemblies for future design projects

I work with 3D modeling softwares to create parts and assemblies to be used for assembly and manufacturing as well as working with task stream management as a part of an initiative to ensure we are producing our products efficiently and on time to our customers

I prepared and led a group of Santa Clara University students to the Appalachian Mountain region to spend a week living and working with the people of this region. The students spent the week working and learning from community service and social activist based organizations such as the Appalachian Outreach Program and the Center for Coalfield Justice. The purpose of the trip was to allow the students to learn from the Appalachian community and to reflect on their own ways of life through the themes of simplicity, community, spirituality, and social justice.

I worked for the LEAD Program at Santa Clara University, which is a undergraduate program for first generation college students. The program's purpose is to ease the transition into college for first generation college students coming out of high school and to develop a foundation on which they can seek advice and develop a sense of community on campus. This job continues throughout the school year as I act as mentor to these students and provide guidance based on my own experiences. I have worked for the LEAD Program both in the 2010/11 academic school year and in the 2011/12 academic school year.

As an intern at Lyru Engineering I worked to design and build custom sheet metal products. I worked in Solidworks 3D modeling software to produce the CAD data required to fabricate our customers' products. I then ran the CNC machining process and did the finishing work to meet our quality standards.
