I'm currently supporting the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) function at various organisations, both in corporate and non-profit sectors. With over several years of experience in ESG and sustainability, I am passionate about enabling organisations to create positive impacts through partnership with the planet and people, ensuring continual prosperity and peace that benefits all parties. As an ESG & sustainability professional, some of the highlights of my professional works include:• Commissioned the first environmental monitoring report for the world first floating LNG facility PETRONAS Floating LNG Satu (PFLNG Satu) in 2016.• Worked and completed a RM1.5 million Air Pollution Control System for Samling Housing Products Sdn Bhd.• Advise, building business developments channel, and consulted MNCs, PLCs, and SMEs on their sustainability policies, roadmaps, and certifications. • Developed Cahya Mata's Sustainability Framework and Roadmap to guide the company in managing risks and strategising their sustainability journey. Additionally, I am a Council Member and co-founder of ESG Malaysia ("ESGM"), a non-profit organisation that promotes and advances the ESG agenda and professionalism in Malaysia. My roles include:• Managing the organisation's corporate communication, memberships, stakeholders engagement, and strategic partnerships with governments, other NGOs, academic and research institutions, and think tanks.• Managing and maintaining the organisation's corporate website and emails. • Driving the expansion and leading the organisation presence in East Malaysia.• Supporting the organisation's engagement as a speaker, panelist, and collaborator in conferences, events, and forums organised by ESGM and/or by our partners. As for my educational and other professional credentials:• A professional technologist (Specialisation: Atmospheric and Environmental Technology) from the Malaysian Board of Technologists.• Graduated with a Master degree in Sustainable Development Management from Sunway University.• Graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences (Double Majors) in Biological Science and Earth and Atmospheric Science from University of Alberta. • A certified Lead Verifier for ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gases Accounting), Lead Auditor for ISO 20121:2012 (Event Sustainability Management System), and Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
