• Provide training to financial reporting personnel on complying with the U.S. SEC’s XBRL mandate with a focus on preparing and reviewing XBRL formatted financial statements.
• Assess internal controls and provide recommendations to management on best practices for the generation and submission of XBRL data files to the U.S. SEC.
• Responsible for developing tools and methodology used by the firm’s national practice to analyze and identify potential errors in XBRL formatted financial data.
• Perform data quality assessments on a quarterly basis for more than fifty public companies in a variety of industries including financial services, retail, manufacturing, and technology.

• Perform integrated audits of internal control around IT for public and private audit clients across a variety of industries including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, and technology.
• Provide third party attestation on design and operating effectiveness of internal controls for service organizations offering e-commerce fulfillment, application hosting, and mortgage loan services (SSAE16/SOC1 reports).
