Account Manager at Tyrell Corporation's Irish office, which I helped establish as part of the team expanding the London-based company into Ireland. In this role, I specialised in selling video and audio solutions to the post-production and broadcast sector. My responsibilities included developing and maintaining strong client relationships and creating technology solutions to meet their specific needs. I worked closely with a diverse range of clients, from small independent production houses to large broadcasters, ensuring they had access to the latest tools and workflows to enhance their creative output.

Account Manager at PVL Communications, I joined PVL, just as the non-linear editing shift happened which was spearheaded by Avid Technology. My role was multifaceted, with technical support, pre-sales consultations, product demonstrations, and ultimately the selling of these professional video and audio systems, with specialisation in Avid Media Composer & Avid AudioVision. This position required me to stay constantly updated on the rapidly evolving technology, bridging the gap between the technical aspects of the software and the creative needs of editors and producers.

As a graphic designer in the 90's, I used tools like DPaint and CorelDraw to create engaging visuals and animations that helped explain complex academic texts. My primary focus was on developing graphics that would help with the text or concepts, making them more accessible to students.This approach allowed students to navigate through rich, multimedia educational content at their own pace, enhancing their learning experience. My work involved not only creative design but also collaborating closely with the team of programmers to ensure seamless integration of graphics into the Tencor-based software. This really taught me how technology could revolutionise learning.
