Unattended Pump SoftwareDeveloped device comms via RS232 and hexcode according to their documentation. Devices included barcode scanners, receipt printers and a cash acceptor. I have also worked with CanBus comms in order receive information directly from the onboard pump computer.In order to complete the above work I also have experience working with comms software, mainly TerraTerm, Eltima Software Serial Port Monitor 7.0 and WireShark.Developed from scratch and worked on front-end and back-end development of pump application using UWP, both .NET Core and Framework, up to C# 8.0 and XAML within Visual Studio 2019.Implemented the MVVM and Code Behind design patterns where applicable.Regularly carried out code analysis to ensure optimal code performance, maintainability and minimum complexity. I then used any findings to refactor code to eliminate any possible discrepancies.Developed both the main application and additional DLLs in accordance with OOP principles.Utilised SQLite to enable local logging.Created automatic distribution and update functionality to allow for streamlined continuous implementation via Azure DevOps Pipeline, YAML scripting, distribution to Visual Studio App Center and uploading artifacts to a bespoke Azure Web Service.Utilised the Visual Studio App Center analytics API to gather event logs and crash reports.Clearly commented code and documented any findings for future reference.Worked closely with company directors, engineers and support staff daily.In addition to programming, I was also admin for a clients Cisco Phone System. This required regular maintenance of the existing phone system, dealing with any issues and working with Cisco engineers to resolve them as well as creating new users via Active Directory and CUCM 11.5.
