You can find our mushrooms at a number of farmer's markets and coops. We also grow specialty crops and currently our focus is on garlic. If you are interested in learning more please drop us a line! Call Center Manager, Director Of E-Rate Services, Strategic Project Manager,Dti (Digital Telecommunications, Inc) Jan 2009 - May 2010Winona, Mn, UsI built the DTI call center from the ground up. As Call Center Manager I was tasked with recruitment, training, and management of our Call Center Team. Our team worked throughout MN cold calling and scheduling appointments for the direct sales representatives.As Manager of Strategic Projects I wore a number of different hats including, direct sales, sales management, all of the marketing, coordination and management of all internships, project development, product development, and recruitment. We completely rebranded the company by introducing a new logo, website, and marketing strategies. We were able to keep costs down and establish a connection with the local community by partnering up with local universities. The idea was to work with students in the marketing, graphic design, and communications studies departments to work on marketing strategies. This gave the company a lot of excellent new ideas while at the same time, providing students with some "real world" experience. It was a huge success. We were also able to work with the universities with the DTI Sales Internship program we created. We hired a team of 6 interns from various schools in the area for a summer sales program. The interns were given extensive sales training over the summer and spent days cold calling local businesses in the area. They gained valuable sales experience (which many of them were able to leverage after graduation) while evangelizing the company and bringing in sales.The Universal Service Fund, commonly known as E-Rate, is a program administered by the FCC to assist schools and libraries in obtaining affordable telecommunications services. I was brought on as a consultant at DTI to create, document, and implement an internal system for the sales team to better utilize this program, in effect, creating more sales opportunities for the company while at the same time allowing schools and libraries to put more funding directly towards educating our youth. -

In 2005 we succeeded in raising over $40,000. In 2006 we brought in over $50,000 in a town of just over 25,000 people. I was also a Big Brother for just over 3 and a half years.
