• During this roll I was tasked with development tunings for performance and diagnostic work via Cummins VPI processes.• This was completed via calibrating software for hardware integration of various actuators dependent on supplier specifications, hardware technical profiles and optimizing performance around the specific use case(s) that is needed for system level performance.• After this diagnostics were developed to ensure that both hardware and software continuously worked in tandem. • Data analysis of controlled bench testing, test cell testing and fleet testing was completed to bring base level software up to production specifications for performance and that diagnostics followed CARB, ARB and EURO VI standards.

• As an emissions and instrumentation technician at Cummins I am tasked to maintain the Continuous Volume Sampling (CVS) laboratory and the Raw Transient Emissions (RTE) laboratory.• This means that I have to maintain, repair and improve the equipment including but not limited to the Horiba MEXA7400 carts, CAI Analyzers and MKS FTIR analyzers.• Provided verification and documentation demonstrating that analyzers are up to calibration.

• I worked as an electrical intern helping develop a direct proton fuel cell. • My duties are to create, maintain and adapt test equipment for analyzing the polarization curve of the performance; analyze test results; consult on the design the fuel cell; and perform various side tasks as seen fit.• I weighed in on what was needed to improve the fuel cells such as reducing internal resistance to improve energy transfer, brain stormed different methods for testing strategies and facilitated discussions on needs for future redesigns such as improving energy density conversions.
