The Academic Operations and Data Manager is part of a team led by the Provost to support faculty and optimize processes that will support student outcomes. The Operations Manager will help to identify ways to increase the university's sustainability by reducing duplicative processes and eliminating unnecessary practices. The Operations Manager will also collaborate with the AAO team to support faculty by reducing administrative time whenever possible to allow more time for student-centered work. Manage operational processes for faculty evaluation and promotion.- Collaborate with existing stakeholders and systems to streamline the process and reduce overlap in the peer review process.Credit load analysis and tracking - Create a system at the Division level for standardizing the credit load, release and stipends.- Work with senior administration to analyze and reduce load. Collaboratively develop and standardize processes for administrative staff of academic departments to facilitate data management and create operational synergy.- Interprets, implements, and ensures compliance with university academic and administrative policies and procedures within an operating unit. Recommends new internal policies, guidelines, and procedures.Collaborate with the student success team (Learning support services, student life, career and academic planning center) to create operational processes for at-risk students and ensure they receive all available resources to support their success. Lead initiatives to improve “best practices,” processes, and tools.Provides supervision for the planning and implementation of project management/coordination, including compliance across functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and follow up on the status of activities in consultation with department chairs.Assists in the piloting, testing, and training of new academic softwareCoordinates and arranges trainings, meetings, communications, and feedback loops
