Founded in 2008, Democracy Live has been selected by the US Department of Defense, US State Department and deployed in thousands of elections across 34 states and every continent to securely enable voting for over 20 million voters. Bryan has been a speaker at the United Nations and the U.S. Senate and has been profiled in the NY Times, WA Post and NPR. In 2018, Bryan was nominated and selected to represent the voting technology sector to the Department of Homeland Security as part of the Elections Sector Critical Infrastructure Coordinating Council. (SCC) Bryan was the founding Chair of the SCC Elections Emergency Response Task Force. Bio: With a degree in political science and an MBA in Business & Technology, Bryan's early work in Washington D.C. as a young staffer in the U.S. Senate, combines with 25 years in the elections & voting technology space. A lifelong resident of the Seattle-area, Bryan has traveled extensively throughout the U.S. consulting governments of all size, from Congress to cities on voting-related technologies.
