Teach Swim lessons to children through adults. Due to different swimming abilities and learning methods, adjustments needed to be made with every lesson. I also worked in the retail center selling SCUBA equipment and lessons. Duties also include reconciling cash register for the daily sales and closing the store a few nights through the week. My strong customer service skills were an asset to the business. I also obtained my Lifeguard Instructor Certification and taught Lifeguard classes and CPR/AED classes.

This business started with just doing some work for neighbors. 2007 our advertising was increased which increased our customer base. Most work has been residential in nature, but commercial jobs were obtained. Direct customer communication was essential as well as a strong attention to detail. Job bidding/costing was a steep learning curve, but was crucial to obtain new clients.

I assisted in the management of 83 FTEs in an emergency department that treated 150 patients per day. Helped develop new departmental policies and was a member of hospital-wide committees, including the nursing informatics committee. Our team practiced aggressive case management skills to help reduce IBM's workman's compensation expenses. Responsible for the site's first-aid room which included staffing, ordering of supplies, and education of staff. I was the site's team leader for the deployment of the new Electronic Medical Folder (EMF). This included staff training and developing SOPs for daily operation. Along with the EMF rollout, I worked at upgrading our current computers and gained substantial knowledge of hardware and software configurations. I traveled in the southeast region conducting health fairs and health screenings for IBM employees.
