Acquired to incorporate Priceflow's pricing model into their existing product and turn around and lead the data science organization that was struggling to get their work into production.• Led effort to integrate Priceflow IP into TrueCar’s tech stack. Eliminated dependencies on external operations teams through the use of AWS CDK and DBT for managing deployments• Regularly advised other teams on evaluating infrastructure design and architecture tradeoffs• Hosted regular training sessions on Python/R/Shiny

Co-founded Priceflow to provide used car dealers with more accurate pricing software than what was currently available on the market. Initially a nights/weekends project where I was the solo developer, it would eventually grew to 8 remote engineers by the time we were acquired by TrueCar• Led engineering organization consisting of co-located data science team based in Los Angeles and remote contractors in North Carolina. Developed processes and selecting technology with the primary goal of reducing friction as much as possible• Secured 50k in AWS credits through Activate Portfolio program• Created ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions that processed scraped data coming from 30k dealer sites

Responsible for writing the R interface to an internal platform for data science workflows written in Python.Metaflow is now open-source(!):https://metaflow.org
