CurrentBryan P. Goff represents clients in sophisticated litigation, transactional, and advisory matters, with a focus on structured finance transactions and complex financial products. Bryan has over 15 years of experience litigating contractual disputes involving these products, including asset-backed securities (ABS), residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS), collateralized loan obligations (CLO), collateralized debt obligations (CDO), structured investment vehicles (SIV), and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives. Bryan also has experience litigating federal securities fraud claims and responding to civil and regulatory subpoenas involving structured transactions.In addition to litigation, Bryan has deep experience in a wide variety of transactional and advisory matters involving structured finance transactions and derivatives, including transaction amendments and restructuring, assessment and exercise of rights under transaction documents, LIBOR transition issues, arbitrage trading strategies, and internal investigations. Bryan also advises clients on bankruptcy and UCC issues in structured finance and other transactions.Bryan’s legal practice is enriched by computer programming experience and a degree in computer science and engineering. Prior to practicing law, Bryan worked as a web developer for over a decade, and he spent several years designing and programming server-side web applications.
