Mission: Defines the green models and pilots industrialization of products in order to meet tires CDC (product and industrial performances, cost and lead time) and to be in time on the market. Conducts root cause analysis and develops actions to resolve manufacturing and design issues.• Define the technical specifications to manufacture tire models, meeting performance targets while accounting for industrial standards and constraints• Identify and manage the associated risks for meeting the quality, timing, and cost targets of the industrialized tire• Provide technical support to the factory, throughout the tire life cycle, to ensure design robustness• Continuously improve the tire design process through the creation and deployment of new or updated tools and work methods

• Applies knowledge of functions, processes, and capabilities of machines and equipment to identify root cause of issues and determine product specific manufacturing solutions.• Solicits feedback from other engineers/technicians, machine operators and assemblers to continually improve manufacturing methods with re-designs, repairs, or replacement of process production program equipment, production control hardware, and tooling.• Assists in resolving production line issues, collaborating with quality engineers. Develops and maintains best practice process documentation across production lines.• Establishes tooling, fixturing, gaging and machine tool requirements to fabricate, manufacture or assemble existing company products.• Redesigns, repairs, or replaces in-process production program equipment, production control hardware, and tooling.• Identifies operations to be performed on machines, cutting tools, fixtures, equipment, routing to be used and cycle time needed to prepare cost estimates for new work.• Writes standardized manufacturing operations procedures for new or existing equipment.

• Completed field and lab assignments with machinery to test soils, concrete, asbestos, and asphalt involved in the planning of building-foundations, roads, and dams.• Worked independently, with teams, contractors, and other engineers to complete assignments at job sites.• Proficient with Nuclear Density Gauge, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, and Drive Tube to determine soil properties.

• Experienced at performing vehicle maintenance, time-management, multi-tasking, retail work, providing outstanding customer service and expertise to best help customers in solving their automotive problems.
