Born in Toronto (Canada), I love politics, travel, asking questions, learning about people, and playing with data and tech to make the world a better place. My primary day job currently involves helping a sports & entertainment enterprise drive wide ranging social impact outcomes through its investments in youth and communities - a career in sport I never thought possible growing up dabbling in baseball, football and basketball as a kid. After studying Immunology & Public Health, my prior professional career has included writing, research, strategic analysis and evaluations of mental health, youth, socioeconomic, policy and humanitarian interventions internationally and at home in Canada. During this time, I have worked or consulted across a diverse range of capacities including in public health, complex emergencies, politics, community services and corporate philanthropy. With a passion for civic building in my home community, I frequently engage in local political and advocacy campaigns, and am a proud alumni of the Maytree Foundation DiverseCity onBoard and School4Civics families. Current voluntary roles include service as Chair of the StridesTO Board of Directors Quality Committee, Past President of the ACSA Toronto Board of Directors, and multiple Management Advisory Groups for the United Way of Greater Toronto Youth Success Strategy.
