I work in the Family (of Apps) Experiences (FX) team, responsible for cross-app experiences in Meta's family of apps. My focus is strategic product growth analytics. I designed and built a data warehouse and dashboard for strategic metrics in a self-serve format. It was implemented in Presto, Spark, SQL, and Python.

I served as team lead, lead developer, and enterprise architect. In team leadership, I managed a small team of developers in developing a sales prospecting product (ProV) and a market share analysis product (Market Vision). Our internal customers were underwriters, branch managers, product managers, and executives. Product design was focused on ease of use in user workflows, immediately accessible metrics, and intuitive analysis. The products had hundreds of users and facilitated millions in sales each quarter. Technologies include Qlik Sense, Python, and node.js.As enterprise architect, I developed QSAF, an application framework for Qlik Sense business intelligence analytics. The QSAF organized data and code, drove developer efficiency through reusable subroutines, and promoted code quality through enforcement of best practices. I also acted as solution architect for other teams, designing highly optimized data models and promoting higher levels of skill across the organization. This included assisting the administration team in developing system architecture and best practices.

I served as the lead Qlik Sense developer for the Customer Analytics team, as well as thought leader for Qlik Sense development across Bloomberg. Our apps ingested hundreds of millions of rows from Hadoop-based sources, deployed to dedicated server clusters. Additionally, I trained team members, championed best practices, answered development questions for hundreds of developers across Bloomberg, and helped plan BI strategy. Accomplishments include the creating a Qlik Sense Engine client in Python, writing Qlik Sense engineering standards, developing Qlik Sense app templates and subroutines, optimizing a data model of over 1 billion rows, and incorporating Six Sigma principles into our Agile development process. Notable projects included an executive customer dashboard, in-depth on-demand product usage analytics, and news readership analytics.

To promote self-service analytics across the enterprise, I developed a standard template for users, equipped with easy-to-use currency conversion, unit-of-measure (UOM) conversion, and calendar capabilities. My projects focused on new development of global, enterprise-wide applications, for middle management and executives. Notable BI projects include call center customer satisfaction, IT project and portfolio management (PMO), and product-loading plant-and-quality management. Data science / machine learning projects included data lineage graph analysis, process control charts implemented in Qlik Sense, and a Qlik Sense-Python-integration proof of concept that predicted daily customer product usage with a deep learning neural network. I also mentored colleagues and drove process improvements to maximize value, including the creation of an enterprise-wide self-service data warehouse.

As founder and solution architect, I helped clients solve business problems and achieve strategic advantage through technology. To do this, I managed and developed projects for interactive, visual analytics, primarily in QlikView, a business intelligence and ETL platform. During this time, I executed 180 agile sprint projects, ranging in duration from 1 day to multiple weeks. On the client side, I managed relationships, developed proofs of concepts and demos, and held sales meetings with prospective clients. The team I managed was a small group of developers and a salesperson. Total annual budget was in the low six figures.

Neurality developed technology that learns like the human brain, and worked at creating a platform that could enable a smarter world. Enterprises, entrepreneurs and developers will be able to easily add sophisticated intelligence to their applications and make more helpful products that can apply to every part of our daily lives, from our phones to our homes.I provided leadership in the area of research and development to move the Neurality platform algorithms forward. This included collaborating with machine learning experts, gathering research, and developing prototypes. I also established the technology road map and launched development of the platform with my proprietary algorithms.

Responsible for architecting and designing enterprise scalable QlikView solutions, enabling customers to achieve better outcomes through superior analytics. Focused on quality and speed to value through the implementation of repeatable process and best practices. I also worked on internal QlikView initiatives to develop packaged solutions and configurable utilities to support and enhance client dashboards and deployments. I strove for efficient execution of services and unprecedented value through machine learning based predictive modeling. During projects, I managed 1-3 developers.

I worked with clients to perform meaningful analysis of data and business problems. This included advising clients on data-driven business strategy, problem formulation, and business coaching. During this time, I also researched and developed machine learning software and business applications.

Oversaw, evaluated, and held accountable the Executive Director (CEO) for adhering to the mission, policies, and procedures of the organization. Discussed and voted on strategic, business-wide decisions that affected the overall direction of the organization. Monitored, evaluated, and approved financial performance and use of $1.8MM budget.

As the CTO of this small, student-run company, it was my responsibility to advise the executive team on strategic technology issues and maintain all technology. I developed and maintained the web site, set the direction of technology strategy, and integrated other operations and marketing into a smooth, tech-enabled process.
