I am seeking a full-time tenure track position in a fine arts department on the college level. Since the fall of 2012, I have been an adjunct professor of art history and photography at The University of South Carolina - Upstate. My courses there include: 20th Century Art, Western Art: Prehistory to the Middle Ages, History of Photography, and Digital Photography. During the fall of 2013, I will also teach digital photography at Wofford College and Furman University. Prior to serving at USC-Upstate, I was an academic administrator and fine arts instructor at The New School in New York City. Major administrative areas of focus were: faculty hiring and recruitment, curriculum development and university academic standards, course scheduling and academic accreditation. I also managed daily office and departmental operations. As a part-time faculty member in fine arts at Parsons The New School for Design, I concentrated in digital photography and video, black and white darkroom and Photoshop.Specialties: Analogue and digital photography, alternative and historic photographic processes, including 19th century wet plate collodion process used to produce tintypes, glass negatives and ambrotypes.Large format landscape photography.
