Launched a North American entity for a 25 year plus leading manufacturer of pneumatic tools, equipment, and accessories for the professional, industrial, and consumer markets.

Managed a start up division to expand the company's global presence in the commercial construction marketplace, by providing new innovative tools, fasteners, and fastening solutions targeted towards wood, steel and concrete fastening applications. Managed the company through a transition of product lines that increased sales in the division from $1.7 MM to over $ 5 MM during my tenure with the company.

•Responsible for all Product Marketing, Engineering, R&D, Design, and Merchandising functions for the Air Products division of the company. •Responsible for product categories totaling over $300 million in annual sales.•Successfully managed the launch of a new product line of DIY tools and promotional kits, resulting in incremental new sales of $20+ Million at profit margins double the company average.•Worked directly with over 25 foreign suppliers and manufacturers of various products in China and Taiwan.•Product categories included consumer, contractor, and commercial air compressors, air tools, nailers, pneumatic accessories, cordless power tools, 12-volt products, and various other product categories sold primarily through big box retail, hardware stores, catalogs, internet and automotive channels.•Successfully managed the company through multiple cost savings programs, averaging over $2 Million in annual savings.

•Managed the Discount Channel Account Division for the U.S. market, and the entire account base in Canada. Account responsibility included Wal-Mart U.S., Wal-Mart International, K-Mart, Sam’s, Target, Meijer, Canadian Tire, and others. Total account responsibility totaled over $130 Million in sales in 2002. •Grew business from $60 Million in 1996 to over $110 Million in 2001. •Was appointed by Wal-Mart as Category Manager for the Automotive Tool and Equipment category, consisting of over $105 million in sales and 32 square feet of retail space. •As Wal-Mart Account Manager, grew the Company’s program to include the addition of over 30 new products, doubled the retail shelf exposure from 32 to 64 square feet, increased sales by over 100 %, and successfully displaced three competing brands.•Increased sales volume of account base from $29 million in 1994 to over $60 million in 1996.•Called on several key National Accounts including Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart and Sam’s
