Bryan Jacob provides leadership, strategy and direction to minimize the environmental impact and maximize value creation from relevant business opportunities for Watershed Geo. Working closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders, Bryan is responsible for advancing and achieving the company’s environmental goals. He maintains awareness of changes in legislation and leads company policy changes accordingly (allowing WG to be opportunistic and capitalize on changes). Bryan is also responsible for communicating the company’s sustainability efforts and business strategies to stakeholders, including investors, customers, and employees.

Bryan founded Climate Coach International to offer “bench strength” for climate leadership. Mitigation, Adaptation, Engagement, and Advocacy are priorities for Climate Coach International. Example projects include:• Assessing the competitive landscape and constructing a climate maturity matrix to inform the leadership posture for an apparel client. • Modeling emission reduction trajectories for a sportswear client using various Science-Based Target-setting methodologies.• Developing a corporate engagement platform on Energy Productivity for an environmental NGO.• Curriculum development and instruction on the Food-Water-Energy Nexus for an academic client.

As Solar Program Director, Bryan led activities to promote solar power across the Southeast. Bryan is a ramblin’ wreck from Georgia Tech. From 1993-2015, he coordinated and managed environmental programs for The Coca Cola Company. Initiatives included environmental performance measurement, energy- efficiency, climate protection and support of the company’s Sustainable Refrigeration Program known as eKOfreshment. Bryan’s latest role was to lead the company’s program to reduce the carbon footprint of the ‘drink-in-your-hand’ which covers the Coca-Cola system end-to-end value chain.
