The eldest son of parents who immigrated from the former Yugoslavian state of Croatia, Bryan was inspired by his father who built a successful Logistics business in the United States and lived the American Dream. From his early days in grammar school, Bryan has always been innovative and business-oriented. Bryan started his first incorporated business at 16 years old, distributing consumer electronics and building personalized desktop systems in the greater New Jersey area (and yes, out of his parents’ basement). Starting countless ventures throughout High School and College, both profitable and not, Bryan started Fusion as a Sophomore in College developing a medical claims processing software for a Correctional Health Services company. Over the next 15 years, Bryan built Fusion from a startup on top of a dance studio (very loud) to one of New Jersey’s 10 fastest growing businesses. Bryan has designed Fusion with a culture fostered by entrepreneurship from within (intrapreneurship), empowering staff to own the vision through fulfillment and feeling directly tied to the accomplishments of the business.Fusion’s culture and work environment has also made it a nominee for Best Places to Work. Moving into our flagship 30,000 SqFt ‘HQ4’ in 2019 furthered our ability to grow, attracting top talent from the Greater New York City area. HQ4 features Activity Based Workspaces, Research & Development, Office Scooters, Arcade, Meditation Room, Gym and much more. On a personal level, Bryan served his community as an officer in the volunteer fire company. In 2015, he married the love of his life Marissa and have two beautiful children, Madeline (born 2016) and Joseph (born 2019). The Jakovcic family lives on a tiny farm where they have donkeys, goats and chickens and enjoy spending summers at the beach. Bryan has a passion for cars because he, “Likes to see how things work”. He also is a member of Seton Hall University’s Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Board of Directors, an NJBiz 40 Under 40 Award Winner and owner of a three-time .INC 5000 business (#556 in 2019).
