Bryan Carr is one of Archer's Managing Partners and a utility industry security and compliance expert with over 12 years of experience. Having performed hundreds of performance audits and assisting dozens of clients nationwide in their efforts, Mr. Carr has a vast knowledge of energy infrastructure, software and cyber security capabilities of industrial processes, SCADA, and distributed control systems.For four years, Mr. Carr was Senior Compliance Auditor, Cyber & Physical Security at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), the regional entity responsible for coordinating and promoting Bulk Electric System security and reliability in the Western Interconnection. Mr. Carr led and participated in over 100 audits, including spot checks and investigations, of electric utilities across the Western region of the U.S. and British Columbia. He observed, evaluated, and documented practices, methods, and results for hundreds of transmission substations, transmission control centers, and generation facilities.Prior to his work with WECC, Mr. Carr was Compliance Program Manager for NERC CIP Compliance for PacifiCorp, a leading western U.S. utility and large grid owner/operator in the West.
